"Sesame Street" and Kevin Clash Win More Daytime Emmy Awards

"Sesame Street" won six more Emmy Awards at the Creative Arts Ceremony for the Daytime Emmys held on Friday night.

They won the Emmy for Outstanding Preschool Children’s Series', Outstanding Achievement in Main Title and Graphic Design, Outstanding Achievement in Multiple Camera Editing, and Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing, Live Action. Ken Diego, Kevin Clash, Joey Mazzarino, and Matt Vogel shared the award for Outstanding Directing in a Children’s Series. Joey Mazzarino, Molly Boylan, Annie Evans, Christine Ferraro, Emily Perl Kingsley, Luis Santeiro, Ed Valentine, Belinda Ward, and John Weidman were awarded for Outstanding Writing in a Children’s Series.

Kevin Clash won Outstanding Performer in a Children’s Series. He shared trophies for Outstanding Pre-School Children's series and Directing in a Children's series.

The main Daytime Emmys ceremony is today (Sunday) in Beverly Hills.
