'Muppets, Music and Magic: Jim Henson's Legacy' in Melbourne, Australia

The Australian Centre for Moving Image (ACMI) in Melbourne, Australia will be hosting "Muppets, Music and Magic: Jim Henson’s Legacy" from September 21st to October 11th to commemorate the 25th year since Jim Henson’s passing.

This brand-new package of works comes from deep within the Henson Foundation’s vaults. Featuring guest speaker Martin Baker, who worked with Henson for over two decades on everything from Muppets movies to "Labyrinth", this program charts a course through Henson’s wonderful experimental films, TV commercials, animations and, of course, his work on probably the most famous and influential of all television programs - "Sesame Street". This program is for young, old and everything in between. It’s a wonderfully warm and a gently profound look into the mind of one of film and television’s great artists.
