A funny and very entertaining effort, which is sufficiently respectful and reverential of Muppet history without getting engulfed by it.

So “Muppets Most Wanted” is a perfectly entertaining effort, if not completely transcendent. I’m just curious to know if they can match the heights of the previous third, all-time classic Muppets movie- “The Muppets Take Manhattan“- the next time out. - Stephen Silver
