"Sesame Street" Receives 13 Daytime Emmy Nominations

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced today the nominees for the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.  "Sesame Street" has received  13 nominations.

Here are the nominations:

Outstanding Pre-School Children’s Series
Outstanding New Approaches – Enhancement to a Daytime Program or Series
Outstanding Performer in a Children’s or Pre-School Children’s Series – Leslie Carrara-Rudolph (as Abby Cadabby)
Outstanding Performer in a Children’s or Pre-School Children’s Series – Joey Mazzarino (as Murray, Fiverine, and Only-One Cannoli)
Outstanding Writing in a Children’s or Pre-School Children’s Series (Joey Mazzarino, Head Writer; others)
Outstanding Art Direction/Set Decoration/Scenic Design (Bob Phillips, Art Director; others)
Outstanding Lighting Direction – (Dan Kelley, Lighting Designer)

The awards ceremony will be televised live on Pop at 8:00 p.m. EDT/5:00 p.m. PDT from the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA.
