Ever wondered where Kermits come from? Jim Henson's Creature shop is a visual effects studio responsible for some of the most iconic (and furry) characters in entertainment history, including The Muppets and Sesame Street. And with the launch of Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge on March 25, viewers will get an unprecedented look into this magical land of felt and googly eyes. Over the course of the eight-episode first season, 10 creature designers will compete for a grand prize valued $100,000, including the chance to work in the studio. It's also worth noting that the show is backed by some serious pedigree: award-winning puppeteer/director/producer Brian Henson, chairman of the Jim Henson Company and son of Jim Henson, will serve as lead judge. Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge premieres Tuesday, March 25 at 10e 7p. Right after Face Off on SPACE (Canada)
