Tonight on NBC at 10:00pm est, Elmo will be a guest on Michael Bubles Home for the Holidays Christmas Special.
Unfortunately, this will be one of if not the last performance of Kevin Clash as Elmo. This special was taped back in October, before all the news broke of Kevin's troubles. Many segments have been taped for upcoming Sesame Street episodes so we wil be fortunately still be treated to some great performances but, those days are going to come to an end soon.
It will be interesting to see what the reaction will be to Elmo's segment. As this really is the first time 'seeing him' in a speaking role since the scandal began.
I must admit it will be difficult to watch and not think of the past weeks.
