Part 1,

John and the Muppets sing "The 12 Days of Christmas" and John

tries to manage a table reading and a flirtatious Miss Piggy.  

 

 

Part 2
John does a routine where he walks around town and sings
and dances. John visits Miss Piggy's dressing room and she wants
to discuss their "relationship".  

 

 

 

 

Part 3
John recites the poem "Alfie the Christmas Tree" and sings
"It's In Every One Of Us"

 

 

 

Part 4
The Muppets sing "Christmas is Coming" and John sings
"A Baby Just Like You"

 

 

Part 5
John does a routine as a toy soldier.

 

 

Part 6
John and the Muppets sing "The Peace Carol" and John tells
the story of the birth of Jesus.

 

 

This special continues to be a fan favourite among Muppet fans. Maybe some day we will see a DVD release (we can always hope), but until then we can enjoy these clips of the original program to help bring back those memories of when we first watched this special back in 1979. Enjoy!
