Over the last few days, London streets have been standing in as Berlin, Dublin and… other bits of London for filming "Muppets.Again!".
The sign standing in Greenwich today included a new version of the film’s plot premise, revealing some new information:
Kermit the Frog and the gang embark on a World Tour, with the “help” of a Mysterious International Tour Manager. Things quickly go awry as it turns out the tour is being used as a ruse for the new manager – and his boss, “World’s Most Dangerous Frog” – to embark on an international crime spree.
The sign also promised that film will be released in April of next year. That refers to its UK release. The North American date remains March 21st, 2014.
Also included on the sign was a special message from Kermit:
We’re filming our new movie The Muppets… Again! here [in Greenwich]. Absolutely no Muppets are being harmed in the making of this motion picture. At least as long as they don’t get between Miss Piggy and the camera.
