Brian Henson talks about Jim's creations and the introduction of Scottish characters.
MUPPET certainly has its own place in the Scottish dictionary.
Now Brian Henson, the son of the man who created the real Muppets, wants to make some Scots puppets.
Henson, in Edinburgh yesterday for the Television Festival, said: “We have done a few Scots characters, who tend to be a bit gruff and tough, but I think we’ll do more.
“I love the energy and personality of Scots. You are a wild bunch.”
But Brian, would not be drawn on his favourite Muppet.
He laughed: “That’s like choosing a favourite kid but Kermit was closest to my dad in personality.”
