First we look back at her wonderful cameo appearance in 1984's "The Muppets Take Manhattan".
Earlier this year Miss Piggy and the rest of the Muppets appeared on QVC to help promote "Muppets Most Wanted" and debut Miss Piggy's Haute Tote.
During this time the fourty year 'feud' between Joan and Miss Piggy heated up again and on February 28, 2014, Joan was photographed leaving a QVC Red Carpet event covered in cake.
A video posted on the internet the next morning revealed the culprit behind the "cake-bombing" was none other than Miss Piggy.
A new documentary "Behind the Feud" was then released with some legendary celebrities telling the full story of the feud, from when the two divas first met in the 1970's through their current troubles today.
However, Joan and Miss Piggy did make up on the Muppets' QVC apperance on the March 16th, 2014 broadcast. It happens about 2 minutes into the following segment.
Joan, you were ALWAYS a good friend to The Muppets and you will be greatly missed. Thanks for all the wonderful moments you had with them. Our thoughts and prayers are with Melissa and family during this difficult time.
