Peter Segal Set to Direct Brian Froud's "Goblins" for Disney, Froud Executive Producing

Disney has set Peter Segal to direct "Goblins". Segal and his Callahan Filmworks partner Michael Ewing will produce a project based on "Goblins! A Survival Guide And Fiasco In Four Parts", a book written by Ari Berk and illustrated by Brian Froud.

Brian Froud was Jim Henson’s conceptual designer on "Labyrinth" and "The Dark Crystal".

Berk is the author of 13 children’s books; the most recent, "The Undertaken Trilogy", was released this year. Tom Astle & Matt Ember have been set to script the adaptation, with Ari Berk and Brian Froud will be the Executive Producers.
