Billie Whitelaw, the Voice of Aughra in "The Dark Crystal", Passes Away at 82

Billie Whitelaw, the voice of Aughra in Jim Henson's "The Dark Crystal" has passed away at the age of 82.  

Whitelaw spent her final years in Denville Hall, the retirement home for actors in north London, which was supported by Richard Attenborough. She was awarded a CBE by the Queen in the 1991 birthday honours list.

She had a long and wonderful career in film and theatre.
